Billing and invoices

Everything about money sits in one place: Settings, under Subscription. That is where the plan you are on, the credits left on it and every control for paying live. Most of those controls are switched off while Nomi is in beta, so this page says plainly which ones, rather than sending you looking for a button that is not there yet.

Where billing lives

Open Settings and choose Subscription. The panel shows the plan you are on, how much of the allowance is left, and Confirm before spending, the ceiling above which Nomi stops and asks before a paid action.

Two buttons lead out of it. Upgrade plan opens the plan comparison, where all three plans are priced monthly and annually and set side by side. Buy credits opens the top-up sizes, priced at your own plan's rate.

What is switched off today

No payment can be completed in the app today. Continue in the top-up window, Manage subscription, and the Upgrade button on every plan card are all disabled, and hovering any of them says "Billing opens when the beta ends".

Both windows still open and both still show real prices. Looking costs nothing, so the block sits only on the control that would take money, never on the door to the price list.

Your plan is set for you rather than chosen in the app, which means a move up, a move down or a larger allowance is arranged with us rather than pressed in a panel.

Invoices and receipts

There are none in the app, and there is nothing to look for: while checkout is closed, nothing has been charged.

When billing does open, the card on file, the invoices and cancelling all live in Stripe's own billing portal, which is what Manage subscription opens. That portal only exists once an account has paid at least once, so an account that has never subscribed is told it has no subscription to manage rather than being shown an empty page.

Credits you buy and the plan you are on are two separate purchases. A top-up adds credits to the balance you already have; it does not change the plan, the seats or the monthly allowance.

Who is allowed to pay

Only the account owner can start a purchase or open the billing portal. Everyone else on the account shares the same balance and can watch it go down, but both money controls refuse them, so an invited colleague cannot change the card, buy credits or cancel the subscription by accident.
