Finding a creative
Search, filters and column count in the Library, and where versions hide.
Last updated 21 October 2026

The Library holds the active brand’s creatives from every session and the pictures and clips you upload; the documents Nomi writes have their own page, Documents. Switching brands loads that brand’s Library and clears the previous brand’s selection. It is one long grid, and there are three ways to cut it down to the thing you are after.
The Library's sidebar splits it in two: All creatives, everything Nomi made, pictures and video in one grid, and My assets, the pictures and clips you upload as brand material. An upload stays in the view you make it in: on All creatives it is one of your ads, there to translate, reframe or edit, and on My assets it is material for your ads. Collections you pin sit under them in Pinned. With a creative open in the editor, a row in the sidebar closes the editor and shows that view.
You can upload a picture from My assets, including the My assets panel in the image editor. Each file shows as a placeholder at its own shape until it lands. Cards in My assets carry no like or dislike: they are your own pictures, not generations. Brand members and admins can upload; viewers can browse the existing assets.
Search
The field sits at the left of the top bar, and on a phone it is behind the ⋯, as Search the library. It reads two things: the name of the creative and the name of the session it came from.
Words are matched one by one rather than as a phrase, so summer shoe finds a creative called shoe-summer-04. A creative is named after the opening of the prompt that made it, until you rename it on the card.
The name written across the top of a card is the filename that creative saves as, built from the pattern in Settings, Account, Files. Search reads the other name, the prompt's own opening or whatever you renamed it to, so the two can differ if your pattern does not include the title.
mod + K opens the same search from anywhere in the app, over your sessions, the Library and your collections at once.
Filters
The Filters button stands at the right of the bar. It opens a list of questions, one screen each, and each question says what it is set to, so you can see what is on without opening anything:
- Aspect ratio: any of the fourteen shapes Nomi draws, from a 1:3 skyscraper to a 3:1 banner, plus the 1.91:1 link landscape an upload can arrive at.
- Language: whichever languages the creatives on screen are written in, each named in full.
- Session: whichever sessions the creatives on screen came from.
- Source: generated by Nomi, or uploaded by you.
- Date: any date, today, this week, this month, this year, all time, a named month, or a span you pick off a calendar.
Two answers inside one question widen the results. Answers across two questions narrow them: portrait and German shows portrait German ads only. A long question, like the fourteen shapes, has a search at the top, keeps what is on in its own group, and sorts the shapes tall, square and wide. The button carries a count while anything is on, and the foot of the panel repeats it beside Clear all, which turns everything off, the date included.
The filters work on both, and Type narrows the grid to pictures or to video.
How many columns
Under View at the bottom of the same panel, Columns sets the count with minus and plus, anywhere from two to eight. It is an account preference rather than a Library setting, so the grid inside a session follows it too. On a narrow window, or beside an open conversation, the grid draws fewer columns than you asked for rather than shrinking the cards past readable.
Versions sit on one card
An ad and its later edits are one card with small faces along the bottom. Click a face and the family opens on its own, every version as a full card, and a back arrow, the ad's name and its count of versions take the place of the search field. Filters read through the faces, so filtering to story shape keeps a family that holds one, even when the card on top is square.
If the grid ends up empty, Nothing matches appears with one button that drops the search, the filters and the date together.
Coming back to it
The Library keeps your place while its tab stays open. Leave for a session or any other page, or open a creative in the editor, and when you come back the search, the filters and the date are still on, the rows you had scrolled to are still loaded (the newest 1,000, for up to twelve hours) and the grid is where you left it; scrolled further down than that, it opens at its top again. Nomi then checks those rows against the Library again, so a creative deleted or archived somewhere else drops out a moment later. All creatives, My assets, every collection and every family of versions keep a place of their own.
Reloading the page, switching brands or signing out starts the Library from the top. A link that carries its own search, or opens a folder or a document, opens on that instead.
Archive and restore
Use Archive in a creative’s three-dot menu to tidy your active grid while keeping the file, copy and history. Choose Archived in the status filter in the Library or session grid to see archived cards. Each has an Archived label and a Restore action. Archive applies to the selected creative, not its whole family or session.
With the menu open, A archives or restores and D opens the permanent-delete confirmation. If an archive request fails, the card stays available and Nomi shows an error so you can try again.
