Refund policy

This page covers money paid for Nomi: subscriptions and credits. It sits beside the terms and the privacy notice and does not replace either. Nomi is operated by OPENFLOW d.o.o., Kranjska cesta 4, 4240 Radovljica, Slovenia. Registration number 9570675000, VAT SI77412770. Contracts for Nomi are with that company, and it is the company a refund comes from.

What you are buying

Three things, and they behave differently.

A subscription to a plan, billed monthly or once a year. It renews by itself at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel. It carries an allowance of credits for each period and a number of seats, and more seats can be added for a monthly price each. A year costs twelve monthly prices, is charged once at the start, and all of its credits arrive when that payment goes through. A period's credits come with its payment: a renewal that has not been paid brings none until it is.

Credits, bought in packs, with or without a subscription. With a subscription a credit costs less. Bought credits belong to no period and do not expire. You can spend them if you have never had a subscription or if yours is active; if you had a subscription and it has ended, they are locked until a subscription is active again.

A 7-day trial, offered once to a company that has not subscribed before, once to a person and once to a payment card, and not to a card that already pays for another company. It costs €1, charged when it starts, and carries 300 credits for seven days on the Essential plan. At the end of the seventh day it becomes a monthly Essential subscription and that plan's price is charged to the same card, unless you cancelled first. The price and the day are stated on the offer and again at checkout, and we email you three days before the charge.

Payments are taken by Stripe. We do not hold your card details.

Changing plan

An upgrade starts at once. It charges the difference in price for the rest of the period and adds the same share of the larger plan's credits; the larger plan's whole allowance comes with the next payment.

A downgrade also starts at once. Nothing is charged and nothing is credited back for the rest of the period, and the credits already paid for that period stay until it ends. The next payment is the smaller plan's.

A yearly plan moves to monthly when its year ends, not partway through it.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app. Only the account owner can.

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not end the period you have already paid for: the plan runs to the end of that period, and generation stops after it. Everything you have already made stays in your Library.

A trial is cancelled the same way. It runs to the end of its seven days, the plan is never charged, and the credits it had left end with it. You can also start your plan before the seven days are up: the app shows the amount and asks you to confirm, the trial ends, and the plan's first month starts that day.

Credits you had bought are locked rather than deleted when a subscription ends. They come back when a subscription does. This holds for any subscription that has ended, a trial that became one included. It does not apply to a company that has never subscribed.

If you are a consumer in the EU

If you buy for yourself rather than for a business, EU law gives you fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving a reason.

Nomi is a digital service supplied as soon as you use it. Where you have asked us to begin supplying it inside those fourteen days and acknowledged that beginning ends your right to withdraw, the right ends when supply begins. Where you have not asked us to begin, the fourteen days run as normal and we return what you paid.

A purchase made for a business is not covered by that right.

When we refund

We refund in full, without argument, where we charged you in error, charged you twice for the same period, or took money after you had cancelled.

If a trial is refused because the company, the person or the card has already had one, we cancel it at once and return its euro, VAT included, to the card it was paid with. The plan is never charged.

When a payment is refunded, the credits it paid for are taken back, as far as they have not been spent. If you dispute a payment with your bank, the credits it paid for are held while the dispute is open, and a disputed subscription payment ends the subscription. A pack's credits come back if the dispute is decided in our favour.

Anything else, write to us and we will look at it. We would rather hear about a problem than have you charge it back.

What we do not refund

Credits that have been spent. A credit is spent when the work it paid for has run, and that work cannot be returned.

An allowance you did not use. Each period's allowance is for that period and does not carry over, so there is nothing left at the end of it to return.

The rest of a year. On a yearly plan the period is the year and its credits arrive at the start, so cancelling partway returns nothing for the months that remain.

A downgrade. Moving to a smaller plan credits nothing back for the rest of the period; its credits stay until the period ends.

The trial's euro, once the trial has started.

Prices and VAT

Prices on our pages are shown without VAT. VAT is added at checkout at the rate for your country, and the checkout shows the total before you pay. If you buy for a business you can enter its VAT number there.
